    Mmm. Now that gives me an idea... Nope. The wife would go demented. She likes her ipads in one piece for when i've done playing. No doubt I'll be at 30000 virtual feet above iceland and i'll have to lose my pfd as she buys some shoes on ebay...still... Could be worse. BTW there should be a public health warning about this hobby being so darn addictive and expensive. I bought the parts to make the gear lever from scratch today; about £45 and 6 hours work. (and convincing myself i need a column drill, a new dremel, and a lathe. Ha ha.) Actually taking the surrounds off is a nightmare. I've repaired a few ipads and this would be prohibitive. I scaled up the crj mip by enough to take account of this, but not so much as to be noticable to the eye. We hide tft monitors behind mips, so an ipad is thin and easy to camoflague.

    Why not buy a 6th iPad?
