will CPFlight MCP work in SIOC environment?

Using now a borrowed OpenCockpit MCP, that comes up in the Sioc window, works like a dream.
Now I wonder if I can buy a second hand CPFlight MCP? Will that work together with SIOC with hardware ID and all? Or must I use OpenCockpit hardware only, when using SIOC to control it all?
    (LevelD)

    Best regards,

Re: will CPFlight MCP work in SIOC environment?

I have a CPFlight MCP andh other CPFlight modules running well together with SIOC.
CPFlight driver recognizes the 767LD and interfaces well with that. There are differences between the 737 MCP and the 767 model so some of the buttons have been remapped but all the functionality are there.

I use CPFlight MCP together with other SIOC modules with no problem. I fly the 767LD with Nico's lekseekon library.

Re: will CPFlight MCP work in SIOC environment?

thank you for the kind reply. I understand that the MCP cannot be interfaced via the SIOC/Leeksecon, but via the other exe-program?
In my SIOC-script, all buttons and LEDs on the MCP are included in my script. Does that mean I have to remove my old MCP from SIOC? I understand the Cpflight MCP is not present in the SIOC harware window?

Yes the CPFlight MCP has its own driver, it is adll that you have to activate with a menu item of FSX.

I think that both the MCP sets FSX shared variables so they should work together IMO. Butm given that there is only one FMC in a plane, why do you want to use 2 MCPs at the same time?
If the script is well written, then it should be easy to find the part related to the MCP and remove.
