    Re: Norwegian 727-200 project

    Hello Tor-Olav

I think I know how it is for the 757/767 and I'm surprised if different for 727,
    but you never know:

28V DC and 12V DC when dimmed.

BTW - you have a great project going on. Nice to follow!!
    Regards,

    Thanks Per-Erik.

Your project is truly amazing! My approach to simbuilding is a lot simpler than what you've got going on! Hats off!

    Re: Norwegian 727-200 project

    Thx, Tor-Olav

Nothing beats you guys going real. I would have done the same if the finance allowed such a move.
So my approach is quite opposite – how cheap is it possible to build with some kind of real look & feel.
It’s doable with a huge amount of hours and I may be finished before “game over”.

Happy building – fun it is!!!

It sure is expensive all right. Having said that though I haven't really spent that much on this hobby. Compared to a few mates of mine that are into cars, snowmobiles, motorcycles etc. this is peanuts! Wouldn't even cover the expense of the tool box required to restore an old car! That's how I chose to look at it anyway!

Yes, the Korry bulbs need 28V, 24V is fine, don't know how bright they are at 12 V.
    Great project, Florian

    Re: Norwegian 727-200 project

Thanks everybody for your kind words. Progress has been slow lately due to other projects, but I have been able to put in some work every now and then. I've finally sourced the #1,2 & 3 fire handles. I had to do some repairs on them, but they are now installed in my glare panel. I'm also doing some detailing on my MIP at the moment. Will upload pictures soon!

    Cheers!

    Re: Norwegian 727-200 project

Time for a small update! I've been working on some details on MIP lately. The pictures are horrendous I know, and they really don't do the panels justice, but here goes anyway:

Still a few things need to be added, but it's certainly starting to look the part!
