    Help with Leo bodnar BU0836

I am useing the above controller for the inputs of my homemade rudder pedals. Im useing the RZ axis. On the test screen
it starts at 0 (full left) to 100% (full right). My other controllers show RZ starting in the center and moving left of center for one direction and right of center for other direction. When I test in game can only get rudder to move in one direction. What am I doing wrong?
    Thank you

    Hi Sparky916,

I have not used these cards as I am using the Pokeys Cards but I would assume that the centre point of the movement would have to be calibrated to zero making any movement in an anti-clockwise direction minus and clockwise plus. Maybe this is done in windows calibration for joysticks. I am only guessing here but it seems logical to me.

    Kind Regards

    Bernie.

Re: Help with Leo bodnar BU0836

    hi sparky..............
well you say you are using the Z rotation for the rudder pedals (yes?)
well ideally you should use the X or Y axes, because when you calibrate these axes,
in the windows control panel, you can set a centre point.
    and that's what you need.
once you have centred your hardware and set the centre point in windows
when the rudders are centred, you will have no input to the sim and it will
give you both left and right input either side the centre point.
(did i explain that properly )
    regards
