    Question New Build

I'm finally taking the plunge and building a fully enclosed simulator. I am planning on 2 42" displays for the Captain and First Officer positions plus two approx. 24"-28" displays for the side windows. I want also to power LCD's for the PFD's and MFD's (probably 4 small LCD displays).

So the question is this...I am looking at a computer using an Intel i7-3930 Six Core (4.1Ghz) with dual Radeon HD 6950 (2GB) graphics cards...enough computing power for all those displays?

Any advice anyone has I would appreciate.

You should do a projector and save the money on the 2 screens for front view. Depending on the size you could even get side vision with just 2. And it would free up video outputs on your computer for the MIP.

    Hi,
Two screens for the front view is normally not a good idea due to the fact that when you land the bezels obscure the runway.
