    Question CP Flight Pro MCP connection issues ?

    Hi;

    I'm using the CP Flight MCP Pro with EFIS (brand new). Computer is running Win 7 64 bit.

    I'm having connection issues. The PC will not recogonise the MCP.

    Sodtware and drivers installed and cables and power pack are OK.

    I've exhasuted all known options.

    Perhaps someone has had the same issue and can help me. Thank you, Iain

    Is it connected to the pc via a USB hub, if so, suggest you try connecting direct to one of the pc motherboard USB sockets. If you have a hub, is it powered?

    Hi David - thanks for the note. It is connected to motherboard USB, not powered hub, Iain

    Re: CP Flight Pro MCP connection issues ?

    Hi,

    what else to try:
    1) connect it to to other USB ports
    2) use a usb switch hub with power supply, (not simple one)
    3) unistall all CpFlight's drivers, remove the MCP and install them again as administrator, then connect the MCP first, after it works the EFIS
    4) check the motherboard's chipset drivers, install new drivers if any, check computer's hardware for any issues
    5) change usb cable
    6) ry another pc, to see if the problem remains, so contant CpFlight fot support.

    Good luck
