Question Can get led to light up

    Hi guys.

I'm building a military jet simulator and I'm trying to figure out how to use this software.

    I have:
    Fs2Phidget: 4.3.64
    FSUIPC 4.745 registered version
    LED64 board

    I'm using:
    FSX
    VRS Superbug

Im trying to light a led when landing gear handle is in down position. This task seems impossible.

Can you guys tell me whats wrong?

    Any tips guys? Thanks!

Re: Can get led to light up

I installed the previous version of Fs2Phidgets and now I can see the FS Variable value changing and I got the led to light up.

This software keeps crashing on me

Re: Can get led to light up

    Hi Xchain:

    I use w7-64 and phidgets 4.3.66 Phidgets located at c:\program files \phidgets

This version has a very different GUI but is very easy to learn .

Gear Down ( Nose,Rt,Left) might be a better indicator for your gear lights instead of just the handle position. Gear position actually
    verifies it DID go down.

    Try this:
    1. Click on led 64 emulator box. Select led 1
    2. select FSvariables4364.ini from the FS Var File column
    3. click on GearNose
    4 click configure
5 set min slider to around 12000 (not critical)
6 set max slider to 16283
    7 click finish
8 Do the same for left and right gear.

I played with the handle variables (range of values, digital, etc ) and it didnt work for me

    Other things to check:

    1. Remember fsx must be running BEFORE starting phidgets.
    2. Verify that FSvariables4364.ini is located in the phidgets variable folder.
    3. Be sure to click RUN TIME box when you are ready to go and Configure box when setting up variables
    4. remember you need to double click ENable for each Led 64 output
    5. The led64 emulator works great use it if you have problems

    Regards Ken K

PS: Alan I like this version even better than the last. GOOD JOB !!!
