Opencockpits MCP V/S Wheel how to mount

Hi, I am struggling to find a solution on how to mount the v/s wheel onto the panel with the rotary encoder - how did you do it? how am I supposed to mount it?

Can't you just glue the encoder sideways on the back of the panel ?

I could but I am afraid of ruining the encoder... and there is a weird looking plastic part that came with the package but doesn't fit in any way....

If you use hot glue you won't ruin the encoder. What does the plastic part look like ?

that won't be sufficient - i think the wheel is probabyl exposed to a lot of pressure when being rapidly scrolled.... http://x737cockpit.files.wordpress.c...1/img_0056.jpg

The plastic part looks as if the encoder would fit in it. Use super glue and I think you'll be alright
