    My Airport Interview!

Phew....Just had an interview at Southend Airport for a position of Passenger Service Agent and Security Agent.

Just had to sit two 15 minute Maths and English test's as well as a thorough grilling by Southend Airport HR Staff....

The interview is the toughest I have ever had since being employed by my hotel that I work in. I totally did not expect the tough questions that I got asked (all scenario based). Southend Airport really does expect the highest standards, and I believe that I offer that!

Hopefully I will get to interview number two which will be even tougher!

Will let you all know how it goes!

    All the best.

    Alex

How are you going to keep your eyes on the passengers, if there are planes around? Would be unpossible for me!

I was like a kid in a candy shop when I arrived, I thought I was going on holiday! The airport has GA aircraft mixed with 757, 707, A319's etc. Its a real mix of private flying and commercial operations, the ideal place to work!

    Good luck from me also.
I can beat you on the "tough" interview though.
I had 9 months of interviews which involved someone coming to my house every month and spending 2 hours grilling me on everything about my life from childhood to present day. It also involved weeks of training sessions.
I also had to write huge reports every month which were scrutinsed.
    I got the job....

    Re: Southend Airport Interview!

    Hi,

You get greeted by the ops team and they go over the company, directors, history etc.

Then you get a 'tough' interview by the ops managers / recruitment managers etc.

Then I had a maths and English test plus another general test (no calculators, just pen and paper, answer 30 questions per each paper x 3 papers in 30 mins).

This was my toughest interview of all that I have had.....

    Good luck!
