    Which TQ?

    Hi !
I went to the point of buying a TQ for my 737ng cockpit.
Next week I'll fly to Lelystad to see and "touch the feeling" of some TQ on show.
I'm extremely uncertain about which is good for me. Obviously, money is a main issue, but that said, what are the differences between various TQ?
My choice is now restricted among :
    • Revolution
      Flight simulator Center
      Cockpitsonic

I'm curious about the new Flight Deck Solutions Jetmax series as well.
Now my question for experts is : which is the best TQ and why?
Maybe the subject has already been discussed, in this case I apologize, but I need some infos and advice.
    Thanks, ciao
    Maurizio

    Re: Which TQ?

The FSC TQ is at least a couple of years old, and to the best of my knowledge the Cockpitsonic is based on the FSC.
I might be biased since i have a Rev-Sim TQ

Do have a look at the FDS Jetmax, it is supposed to be budget friendly (although the throttle handles do not move when in AT mode).

    Re: Which TQ?

    Hi Maruizio,

I would be cautious on purchasing from Revolution Simproducts. While some people have had a good experience, mine has not been the best. I have been waiting 11 months for my throttle. I purchased the KIT in January 2011 which i was told would take 2 weeks to ship. Ive paid almost 2000 euros and have still seen nothing.

    Cheers
    Diego

    Re: Which TQ?

Please take off the cockpitsonic TQ from your list... the service is awful. Take my word for it.

I own a Revolution Sim Products TQ. It's great if you can handle the long time waiting and a long time for fixing bugs after the TQ is already installed in your sim. You see the problem in my personal opinion is that it is base on SIOC and most of us do not know SIOC. It is a wrong platform to be based AGAIN IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, so Oral and Eren have to connect to your sim to setup, fix, correct things, and that takes time. After all these happen, the TQ is a GREAT product.

I do not have any experience about FSC.

    Hope that helps,

    Nick
