    Name the cable?

    Hello All,

I need to extend a cable for one of my interfaces, but not sure what the cable is called. I know that simkits ccu gauges use these. It is an extention cable that I require.

Can anyone name the cable and where I can buy one?

My first suggestion is that this is an IDC cable maybe?

    Thank you so much.

    Hi Alex,
Can't find an extension lead but you could make one.
They are 10 pin IDC connectors.

You can get them from RS Components:-

    Re: Name the cable?

The cable itself is called flatcable. They are mostly used to connect several cicuitboards to each other.
The connectors are mostly 10 or 16 pins. They can be bought at every electronics store/ online store/
