How exactly works the ds terrain display in the ND ?

I've got Wazzup + to show the terrain data in the ND. For this I must download and convert any data with Wazzup +?

When exactly will show the ND the terrain, just under 2000 feet or at the take off or landing?

Could someone please (step by step) explain how I can get (for example) the EGLL or LOWI terrain data? Afterwards so I can create other data itself.

    Hi Peter,

the terrain data is an overlay in the ND and can be switched on and off.

For a short tutorial just go to :

    http://www.projectmagenta.com/category/tutorials/

and then scroll all the way down to "Terrain data generation and installation". You磍l find also raw and converted data there (utilities).

    Hope this helps

    Best regards

    Hi,

In Wazzup+ you select the area you want to have and then create a terrain file.
Just move this .de1 file to PM GC main directory. Note that it the file should not be put in the terrain
directory as PM GC will move the file there by itself.
