There are alot of panel manufactuer's out there and can be difficult to choose.
For what i understand you are looking for a pre-mounted,plug'n play that work's strait
out of the box right? My awnser to you is...can't be done:/

Cheapest plug'n play panel (i found) is about 2200 euro...so if you wanna save some money buy a
DIY kit, take your time and assemble it your self.

    That's my advice

    Take care and good luck!

Re: 737NG overhead panel, Whear you buy?

Sorry but in simple terms - no.

I think you need to do some more research and gain a better understanding of how the h/w switches and leds interface with a computer. Leo Bodnars card will only read switches and pot axes, it cannot control leds (outputs). To have a fully functioning overhead you will need at least 100 outputs and 120 inputs, that excludes the electronics to control gauges and digit displays for the Elec and altitude panels. Then of course there is the cost of backlighting the panels, wiring them up, connectors, usb hub etc etc.

The h/w needed to control a full overhead is considerable, eg going the opencockpits route you would need USBexpansion, 2 mastercards, 1 or 2 output cards, 2 display cards and in due course 2 servo cards for the gauges.

None of the above, or the Simworld links include the software to drive the overhead ie provide the avionics links and logic. Prosim does, I think, and is currently free - others you have to pay for. In any event you will need to get or write the software links between your specific hardware and the overhead logic programme

Re: 737NG overhead panel, Whear you buy?

I'm borrowing an OpenCockpits fully assembled overhead panel soon so I can make plug and play support in Prosim. From what I can see, this panel is plug and play and contains all switches. Don't know if it includes an aft overhead panel, but this panel seems very good for the price of 2700 euro.

overhead666.jpgThe leo card is perfect,i will use them when it's come's to
interface the panel. Also going to use Phidgets for all led's...

Like another member mentioned before,do some more research and
look up every possibility.I decided to first by my overhead over
6 months ago but after all reseach i went with a diy kit.Im not saying
you should do that...but after ours and ours on mycockit and internet i
now have the knowledge(i think) to pull this off.
