    Looking for simple interface!

I'm planning on building some 737 panels from scratch. Why not buy a ready-to-use panel? I enjoy the challenge

Anyway, I want to build each panel as a stand-alone module. For example, an EFIS panel will have a it's own seperate USB connector. I want to build the interface PCB into the module.

Since I'm building the modules in this way, the interfaces have to be small, simple (they don't need 20+ inputs or something) and cheap. Is there such an interface on the market right now?

It should obviously be possible to connect multiple interfaces to one pc.

Target price is around 25 euro's per interface.

    Thanks!

Well... I have to toss this out there...

    Arduino Mini..

The Arduino is not a plug and play USB device, and will require software running on the computer to interface between FS and the arduino... Jim is making great progress towards that end, see This sub forum

Your plan sounds very similar to what I hope to accomplish... The arduino is an open source microcontroller platform and they are very affordable...

The Nano is not that much larger... but is a bit easier to program... allows attachment of a mini USB cable...

    Arduino Nano

many options for very small microcontrollers...

    Looks interesting!

The only problem is... I want to use X-Plane!

I've been working with a full 737NG sim running on FSX and PM for a while now, and FSX is just not doing it for me. Too much problems.

Any interfaces working with X-Plane around?
