Hello i am building a [/B]me 109 simulator I think I was the first to start with this but today you can bye Some parts and even the hole ting. I am a part of a museum at sola Norway were we have a original me109 were I took all the measurement’s needed to build a copy, I made the body of wood but try to make all what the pilot is in contact with in steel and aluminum as the original to get the feeling.
And here is a link to a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E94g7rad0cc of the simulator
I got some parts that were made to restore the original to use for my sim (panel, gun magazine indicator,) and I was so lucky to get some original parts. I used simkits to control my instruments and it works ok, I think I need to use digital servos to have smoother movement doe.
I have ordered a new throttle copy from tarmac and I think this will look good inside the worst thing to get hold of was the gun site I got this from a kina (650 dollars + tax )and its made of resin it works too but the front sun glass mechanism was to weak so I made new in aluminum.i hope you like it
