My MIP is almost done!

Hello all!

Well for the past 6 months or so I've been working on my NG MIP. I have come a long way and am happy to say I am almost finished! I have a question though. I'm looking for a dual concentric rotary switch for my N1 and SPD reference switches on the autobrake panel. I know there is a way I can modify one 6 position switch to allow for an encoder to be inserted, but I really don't want to go that far. Can someone point me in the direction to be able to find the proper encoder/switch for this part of the cockpit?

Sorry it's so slow on all forums nowadays I'm guessing it's the summertime that's the culprit here XD

Anyways, I think your MIP looks stunning. Is this a kit, or scratchmade? I'm thinking about the MIP Panel it self.
And by the way, I can't help you with that dual rotary encoder, but if you were ever to figure out a solution for it,
I'd really like to know where you got it. I need one myself. I'm starting with my MIP stand very soon too

I am not sure what the switches look like that you are after but I bought a duel switch from Leo Bodnar which are listed on his website. Have a look and see if its what you are after

Hey guys thanks for the comments! As fare as the MIP panel itself, that is from Gold Medal Sim Products, I'm not good enough to be able to make that myself. The rest is all home built from scratch. I do have to make modifications to the MIP panel to fit my OC panels, but nothing major.

Thanks for the solutions to the dual encoder, I will check those out. I'll definitely keep you guys updated on the progress, I hope to start painting next month.

Well after emailing Sismo, they seem to have the solution! I simply need to let them know in my order how many positions and degree of each switch position for the dual encoder. So, if you're looking for your N1 and SPD REF encoders, go to Sismo!
