    Segment delay with v8.0

    Hi Nico,

Sorry for delay in posting regarding new version have been on holiday.
I have noticed just one slight change when using the new v8.0 as follows:
When putting on the battery switch the segments for the duct pressure come on straight away as they have always. The remaining overhead segments and the mcp segments seem to have developed a delay of around 3 seconds before they come on. This is repeated when switching off the battery switch.
This is not a big problem and I can certainly live with it but was just curious to know if this is a normal result of the new version.
    My log file.

    Code:

    Re: Segment delay with v8.0

    Hi Mick,

    Thank you for your feedback.

Yes this is the normal result of the new version. I had to change the built in support for lights test and cockpit state for displays (not leds) a little. My old algorithm had a bug that became apparent in FSUIPC mode.

It was just coincidental (dependent on the Variable numbers and the fact that SIOC handles the variables numbers from 1 upwards) that that bug did not show in SIOC.
Now there is a slight delay (1 sec) noticeable, but not a real problem for the task at hand.

BTW: Looking at your log file I recommend to push the RELOAD button after you have started SIOC. That may reduce the number of "No info about ..." warnings.

    regards,
    Nico

    Hi Nico,

    Thanks for confirming that.
I will try your suggestion regarding the reload button.
