POSKY wheels sunk into ground
Hey guys,
Just tried to merge PMDG and POSKY 737-800 for FS9, which turned out quite well. Have to do some more testing but looks good. PMDG FDE works better with Prosim. Since the texture file of POSKY is smaller than the PMDG it also means less burden on the pc.
One small problem I would like to fix. The main landing gear of the posky/pmdg merge sinks into the ground.
I would appreciate some help to solve this.
Thanks,

Re: POSKY wheels sunk into ground
is it always sunk? there is three values in the cfg that needs attention.
Play around with the third value on these 3 lines, point 0-2:
point.0=1.000, -13.416, 0.000, -12.021,
point.1=1.000, -65.500, -9.375, -12.300,
point.2=1.000, -65.500, 9.375, -12.300,

Re: POSKY wheels sunk into ground
Thx NAX,
I'll give it a try. Is this from a flightdecksoftware model? I thought this was only something that was connected to cfg files (do I have to change air files too)?

Re: POSKY wheels sunk into ground
FlightDS have made a model of their own to suite theit AP, but nevermind.
The lines mentioned, you will find in the aircraft.cfg and you do not need to do anything in the .air file. That one is not that easily altered anyways
Larrylynx is working on a new .air file to make the best out of Prosim, and you'll get it over at prosimforums if you wanna try.

Re: POSKY wheels sunk into ground
Ah, that would be great. I was thinking about adding a "wish" to the forum for Marty - or someone else - to develop parts of the .air file to fit into the .air files of the different manufacturers (PMDG, POSKY, ARIANE, FFX etc. and both FS9 and FSX) in order to get the most out of ProSim. This also would save us a lot of trouble merging different aircraft models and changing contact points, etc.
Besides, maybe it would even be possible to have files that suit the other B737 NG types (600-900).
