Hahaha... Well I do appreciate the comment Mike, and your vote for no eyebrows is stored in my internal memory (the old wooden brain) while sorting out weather to keep em, or loose em I do have to say, that I am seriously considering cutting them out because I think it's gona look especially good on a simulator shell. You see, I'm afraid it will look boring without the windows because you really cant get the whole picture of the Boeing 737 in your head just by seeing a simulator shell. I'm thinking it looks great on the real thing, but kind of strange on a project like this..

Does anybody have a link to a similar project without the eyebrows?

I think I want to cut out the eyebrows.. It will without a doubt look better.

I see no eyebrows

They (them who are not us) decided that deleting these to save fuel was more important than having vision up there. About a hundred pounds of windows and related stuff.

There is the aerodynamic aspect as well as air conditioning in the flight deck. From looking at pics of the cockpit 'actual Boeing' they didn't 'remove' the windows just covered them over. I had thought with the newer model they may have wanted to put something in it's place and needed to remove the windows for equipment requirements in the overhead. All I can find in there though is the plug in for the captain and FO's headset which I'm sure where there before they bobbed the eyebrows.

I know fuel saving may not seem like much but have you looked at the price of fuel these days?

As you have decided to make the eyebrows the next question would be are you going to add monitors to continue the visual to the overhead windows?

I am hoping that the projector screen will be big enough to include some visual cues from through the eyebrows too? Not that I really think it will, but wouldn't that be awesome!! Hehe..

But you guys have to agree that this looks muuuuch better right?
