POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?
I placed an order for the MIP from poldragonet on Friday.
I got to the checkout page and entered my details. When I confirmed the order I received this message -
The required transaction key is empty! The payment method settings must be reviewed.
I emailed poldragonet and have not received a reply, which is odd as I would have thought a customer with money waiting is a priority.
What is all that about? Has my payment gone through?
I am not finding it easy to spend my money, what with opencockpits hiding the VAT and now poldragonet ignoring my request to give them a wedge of cash.
I think I will buy the MIP from SIMWORLD or Engravity instead, even though they do not come with the switches.
Allan.

if you only asked us first.... No one is recomending Poldragonet.
Simworld on the other hand, is my best recomandation. Quality, good customer service and low prices.

Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?
I can only speak as I find - I ordered a MIP from Poldragonet and it arrived yesterday (just over three weeks from ordering to delivery to UK). When I e-mailed to enquire about order progress I received a prompt reply with a tracking number and when the package arrived it was very well packaged and I am pleased with the quality - So on the basis of this order I would have to say that I would recommend Poldragonet.

Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?
Ordered and received a Poldragonet 737 overhead in July.
Absolutely no problems at all with that, arrived fast, well packaged and some small things were rectified promptly later in the autumn.
Sometimes the guys are out of town (they do not have simbuilding as their only source of income) and an answer can then take a few days.
All in all - I am pleased with Poldragonet as well as their after sales service.
Quality is good and pricing very modest.
They do however have slight difficulties with english language, but that is happening with other non-English tongue vendors like OC too.

Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?
I have now sent them 2 emails asking how I can pay them £700 with no reply. What a shoddy way to run a business and can only imagine the hassle I would have if I had a problem with the product. So my mind is made up and SIMWORLD can have my hard earned cash.
You think with the economy as it is and a limited market to sell the products to that a simple reply to a payment enquiry would be top of the to do list.
I dont care whether they do this on the side or if they are "out of town" (dont they have email when away?), that is not my problem, if they advertise a product then the least I expect is the courtesy of a reply. As it is the bad reviews they are receiving cannot be doing there business any good.
Allan.

Are you sure they are getting your email at all. Our SPAM filter at the office quite often refuses emails based on content and origin.

Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?
My minimal experience buying hardware has re-emphasised to me that the more you pay for the same/similar item the better the service/experience can be.It is obviously not a bullet proof science !!,but when I decided to start over again and change to a different more expensive hardware supplier who came highly recommended by everyone, the service/product improved immensely, which was important to me as I was very new to the hardware side of things and needed plenty of help...still do

Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?
Always contact the seller first before buying anything. I know that sounds like 20/20 advice but it's better to know where you both stand before exchanging CC info or cash. If the seller fails to reply or you don't get a satisfactorily answer to query then you know where you stand.. Then you can adjust your purchase accordingly. This does a couple of things.
First it will let the seller know that an order from you is forthcoming and to look out for it or even be a bit prepared. Second it gives you a chance to clarify anything that may be missing from the information provided in the ad. Which is what the website is.
Many websites come and go with the authors or business floating off into the night. This is a situation where they may intentional be trying to dupe you but you may end up sending money to a business that no longer exists. So it's important to get up to date information. So unless you have dealt with them in the past few weeks always always make a initial contact first before sending anything to them. They will be happy to hear from you I'm sure if not then your order should be going to someone he is..
Trying to be helpful even if it is a bit late perhaps.
