Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?

The Poldragonet guy (i.e. Jakub) seems to be sometimes a little bit slow on the communication side, but I've always got an answer. You have to keep in mind that it is mainly a one-man-show on the business side.
I've purchased all of my panels from Poldragonet and have nothing to complain about. Reasonable delivery time, good quality, excellent price/performance ratio, good service. I mean, it's not FDS or Fly Engravity level of quality, but it all depends on how much you want to spend at the end...

    Regards,
    Michael

If he wants to lose a £700 order for the sake of an email, then good luck to him. Personally, I think communication is number one priority for a successfull business. The customer will put up with any delay or problem as long as they are kept up to date.

Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?

    Allan,
I totally agree with you, regarding the importance of a good and continuous communication. At the end it's all your decision where and what to buy. If I have a negative first impression on a company I would probably also place no order.
But I just wanted to add my experience with Poldragonet, which is luckily on the positive side and when I see some of the other answers to your thread it seems to me that I am not the only one.

    Regards,
    Michael

Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?

I just spent 30 minutes looking at your building blog, very nice.
I am just starting and am still in the "research and development" phase.
I still have not placed an order for the MIP and have tried to build it myself, it looks pretty good considering it cost me next to nothing. Granted it is not going to be as professional as a #cough# Poldragonet one but I am enjoying the challenge. I will continue to build it and if it looks pants when I finish then I will buy one.
I am waiting for my MCP & EFIS to come from opencockpits (inc VAT ) and cant wait to play about with them.
My wife thinks I am losing my mind - she is probably right

Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?

In my opinion the most important thing in cockpit building is that YOU are happy with YOUR results. In the long term view it's the only thing that matters. I think the MCP/EFIS will highly add to the overall immersion of your solution.
Most wifes are looking at us this way. As long as they tolerate the hobby that's perfectly ok. And I am very lucky to have a very understanding wife. Keep on going (and post some pictures of the results sometimes).

Re: POLDRAGONET - What happened to my payment?

Totally agree with your statements, so I think an apology is in place.
Let me moderate my statement to say that I would not buy from Poldragonet based on my own experience with the products quality. As long you are happy with the quality you get, I'm happy for you.

Sorry if I have offended you. Happy simming!
