    how do.... county durham calling.

Have been loitering on here for a while, soaking up the gen on various aspects of the hobby.... thought I would post some pics of my ickle project.

Its based on an avro lancaster with regards to general layout and positioning of controls etc.
I've acquired various ww2/military RAF parts to add a smidge of authenticity to the build asmuch as I can within my budget and skills (little there of).
I'm aiming for a multiple crew (4 POBs) sim
    -pilot
    -flight engineer
    -Navigator
-Wireless operator. with each crew station having at least one monitor for either external or instrument views. I've finished building the actual body and interior, just got to make fittings for the controls(using saitek stuff for the time being, ££ reasons)and screens.
To look at she's not much but hey ho
right now to figure out how to post some earlier build pics...

    Hi M

That looks a great project, I'd love to see it sometime.

I'm up the road in Newcastle (West Allotment). I'm following the crowd and building a 737! There's another 737 builder a bit closer to you (Beamish), my good friend Clive.

    Where abouts are you?

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting them pictures.
