No Prop Control In FSX Problem

I have encountered a problem with FSX when I try to move the prop control forward it comes right back to prop max decrease. Cannot get it to stay in an increased rpm mode? Have any idea of this problem or where I can get help on this? The Key Board cntrl+ F doesn't work either. The Prop will go dull forward for an instant and them immediately back to full rpm decrease.

Does this happen with all prop aircraft or just the one?

It happens with all constant speed prop aircraft.

Re: No Prop Control In FSX Problem

In that instance if it's a constant speed prop then it could be something in your key settings. Check your key assignments. Especially Joystick assignments as that could be what is causing your difficulty. If you are trying to manually move a control via keyboard and or VC view it could be a joystick assignment that FSX is reacting to as it will take a joystick setting over both of those. You can't turn the joystick off in FSX it will always want to listen to it even if you aren't using it.

    Hope that helps.
