    Hello,

i just want to say that i am very happy to have discovered this hobby. Building an own cockpit is fantastic. Everytime i am in my basement doing work on my stuff - i always think of you other people all over the world who are also working in their basements, garages, rooms at the same moment. Wife, girlsfriend, boyfriend whoever went to sleep already and yourself still working. Looking at the clock moving and surprisingly everytime you end up in bed later than planned because you had to do this little installation which took 2 hours instead of the planned 15 mins.

I learned a lot about cnc milling, electronics and improvisation in the last 8 months. And this is why i think building an own cockpit is a unique hobby. It combines so many craftmans skills. Woodwork, mechanical work, electrics, electronics, project management, resource planning and time management (children, wife....).

And i have to thank everybody for sharing all the information on the mycockpit website. Without the input of so many people this hobby would be impossible.

    Thanks and many happy landings.
    Andy.
