Wideview and 5 monitors setup - plz help.

I have a setup with 5 monitors which together forms a 180 degrees arch. Those monitors are connected to 3 pc like this:

    I use FSX and Wideview

    PC1: Front view
    Pc2: Front-left view and Front-right view
Pc3: Left view and right view

    I have various problems:

First i have troubles in aligning it all so it forms a total view without gaps.
Second when i finally get something i like, using two windows in virtual cockpit (with disabled vc-graphics) and saves the flight - then when restarting it is all over again.

    So:

How do i get an easy way to rotate the views so it all fits. - for example front-left is 45 degrees.
How do i save my view-settings?

    Start here:

In my instructions, I say to use Wideviewaspect=True. I now know this to be wrong, so ignore this part. The rest should help.
When Wideviewaspect=True, zoom sets the FOV of the narrow window dimension (in most cases, this means that zoom sets the vertical FOV).
When False, zoom sets the FOV of the wide window dimension.

Re: Wideview and 5 monitors setup - plz help.

    Hi,

I am also a user of Wideview but I have 5x Computers with 1 x Monitor on each. I have helped a number of people with similar problems but if you want to read the Forums about Wideview and mainly multi monitors on one computer, then here is the link for Wideview. As you are probaly aware, Wideview is really for Networked computers with 1 x Monitor on each. Anyway there is a lot of help below.

    Kind Regards

    Bernie.

Is there a problem with Wideview, when 2 monitors connected to the networked computers ?

    Hi Skino,

Yes there is a Forum for mulitiple monitors on same PC but this is offered by Wideview as a courtesy and not normally answered by their support team ( As you can read on the Forum description) but there are plenty of threads on that particular Forum that covers the issue. There is not a problem with that setup as you will see from the posts relating to that type of setup.

    Kind Regards

    Bernie.

Re: Wideview and 5 monitors setup - plz help.

    Hi
I have 8 screens set up to 8 computers.
I made a brief explanation of how I've adjusted the screens here on this page:

    http://www.md80project.dk/portal/for...ld%29+Hardware

If you need to adjust the zoom factor, then tilt the plane up and down and roll the plane to see that the horizon at computer screens go together, if they are shifted then ajust the zoom factor.

Tip: It works best for me by writing the changed data all the time so I can get back if it goes badly wrong with the adjustment.
    Sincerely,

    Claus

I really like your setup. What computer do you use for the Wideviev clients. In your video you're flying the machine in window mode I think. If, with Wideview a full-screen mode possible?
