    Question Space under 737 TQ

I'm building my dual linked yoke and to have it center, I want to put springs or dampers underneath the TQ. Here's how somebody else did it:

    (member here, btw?)

Since I don't have a TQ yet, I don't know how much clearing I have. How high can I go with my strings if I were to buy one of the commercially available TQ's later?

The TQ doesn't build under the floor, so that will not interfere with your yokes.

But I want a part of the yoke above the floor. It will be a 'stick' in the middle where I attach springs or dampers to in order to have the yoke center when you take your hands off. See the picture in my OP.
