TOGA and AT disengage on FSC TQ (key emulation)

    Hello everybody!

I buy project magenta software about a month or so. Starts with first test flights with GC, CDU, MCP, with CPFlight hardware and the open project sky 737 fsx aircraft (now its freeskyproject).

I am unable to use TOGA and AT disengage from my Trothle quadrant (FSC TQ). In the support forum of it, I've read this can be done via keyboard emulation and I tried with the FS standard asignation, but they dont work.

The TQ is conected directly to the "server PC" (only fsx, throtle, yoke and wideserver) the magenta software its on a networked one with wideclient.

¿whats the key, offset or something I have to load in the TQ driver to use the TOGA and AT disengage?

¿it is the same thing to make one button of my yoke to AP disconection?

Many thanks to all the group, I've learned too much here about cockpits and magenta use.

I think this is the problem, I am not using any at all.

The TQ Throttle has a "special" driver, instaled into the modules folder. I can set up the driver to assing the standard fs action or a key emulation. I have tried to asign the AT disengage and toga in the FS assignations, but FS doesnt recognize the throttle itself. The TQ Throttle comunicates via its own driver and not like a standard joystic button.

I have not tested if I can assign an offset or action via fsuipc, Ill try this afternoon.

In positive case ¿wich offset should I use? or ¿where can I find a list of them?

I think I need the one to disengage the autopilot via button in my yoke too...

    Thanks in advance

I will post the offsets later today. I have to check my setup first.

    Best regards

    I appreciate it Rudiger!

Searching in the magenta website, I found this:

MCP Commands (Read/Write) (commands to the MCP)
    Offset: 050A
    Size: 2

    Bit 0 (TO/GA switch)
    Bit 1 (A/P disconnect)
    Bit 2 (A/T disconnect)

As a newbie in this "offset world" I dont know is this are the ones, but appears to be the ones I need (toga and AT for the throtle and AP disconection for my yoke).

I will try this in the afternoon (if I can able to!). I wonder if I can make some test using my goflight's modules to send the offset, and if they work, then trying to send it via TQ throttle.

I set up the key combinations in FSUIPC (by assigning them to PM functions in the function list), then used the TQ driver to send the appropriate key combination on each button press. It took 5 minutes to set up and works like a charm!

    Thank you Chris!

I've tried your method and works perfect!
