    Re: Welcome to new Sponsor

Welcome to MyCoockpit! I have seen your range of products on your website and at the FS Weekend in 2009.

May I ask a question: most of your modules indicate clearly that they are not compatible with CP Flight hardware (MIP737). I am sure this is because they were designed with your own systems and I/O boards in mind. Would it be easy/simple for the average builder to adapt some of your products to work with the CP Flight hardware. I am looking at your PRM-ASA (http://www.sismo-soluciones.com/inde...mid=57&lang=en) modules. They look great but it is a pity they are not compatible with a lof of our current setups.

The quality of your products is outstanding although it is a pity that you have for example a very simple flaw in your (very expensive) overhead panels. The fuel pumps are labeled FUEL PUMBS instead of PUMPS. (See here: http://www.sismo-soluciones.com/comp...61de0460e8.jpg)

    Re: Welcome to new Sponsor

As you say the modules and PRMs are designed to be connected to the Simcards ETHERNET in a direct way through a flat cable.

The connection difference is that the GNDs of MIP737 card are found in different connectors for a same PRM. That does not happen with the Simcards ETHERNET and the majority of the cards of the market making easier the connections, but really it does not mean that PRMs/modules and MIP737 card are incompatible.

In fact, we made diagrams to connect our modules to the MIP737 Card in order to the request of some builders. We can not test it because we haven’t in our laboratory the MIP737 Card but nobody has mentioned any mistake with the connections.

Take a look is easy, send an e-mail to Sismo and we will attach you the diagrams and contact mapsJ

Regarding Overhead panels and comparing prices with other companies, Sismo panels are cheaper in many cases according to quality-price. The panels have a very adjusted cost in order to a special matt paint as the real one, until 4 layers paint and primmer trying to take care over the backlighting.

“PUMPS”, certainly we must change the image in the web (engraving is already solved), “PUMPS”, certainly we must change the image in the web (panel is already solved), many thanks and don't hesitate to tell any improve.

Thank you for your detailed response. This is the kind of reaction that puts any supplier ahead of his rivals!

My address is capetonian AT gmail DOT com.
Would you be interested in using a MIP737 for testing purposes ?

    Re: Welcome to new Sponsor

We don’t understand very well your question, but the issue is very simple, if the GNDs of the PRMs are separated, the MIP737 should work.

The grounds can be separated by means of GICs (general Interface Cards), very useful for removing welds and to make a clean work.

Andrew, connection diagram was sent to your mail
