    Overhead switches

    Hi all,
    need some help in locating information on the overhead panel in particular the colors & wether the switches are only on/off or momentary;

e.g x feed is the "open" green & "off" white & is it a on/off?

    Thanx

    Re: Overhead switches

    Hi,

all "large" pushbuttons in the overhead panel are on/off switches with an "in" and "out" position. The Airbus philosophy in the overhead panel is dark=normal. So in normal case (during flight) all lights should be off. That is why e.g. the battery 1 switch illuminates "off" when you turn off the battery 1. It should be usually on.
For the coloring of the buttons there is a good page where you can see the colors and states of every button.

    Regards,
    Bastian

    Re: Overhead switches

As far as I know (dug from an FCOM), the following are momentary:
    -EXT PWR
    -APU START
    -ADR 1, 2 & 3
-YELLOW ELEC PUMP (actually I think it's spring loaded, probably meaning it can pop out?)
    -IDG 1 & 2

Don't know if there are others...

    Cheers,

    JL
