    Re: 737 dv window dimension

    Steve,

    I don“t have them, BUT:

I will be on a real 738 by the end of next week, and I deem it likely I will be able to visit the flightdeck. In that case I will have a ruler with me and take dimensions for you. “d that be ok? Would be good you sent me some pic with drawn-in lines where exactly you want the measurements.

    Chris

    Re: 737 dv window dimension

Ok, I did it. I flew to Berlin yesterday morning and back in the evening. Both times, I was lucky to have extremely friendly pilots to let me measure some stuff in their pit. So here is the story:

First plane I saw was a Air Tahiti Nui A340, named "Moorea". Reminded me of some wonderful VFR flying between that Atoll in the Pacific ocean and Faaįa Airport.

Here“s a collage from my pit with the Tahiti background, hehe:

EDDF was overcast yesterday. Here“s the pushback from Terminal 2.

Two pics of the new Berlin-Brandenburg Airport still under construction, will open in July 2012. It is located at the former east-german airport Schönefeld (EDDB). A little bit of haze over Berlin (METAR would tell you "BR").

    Stand-by compass width: 8 cm.

Inner border of central window post to lower border of Overhead: 29.8 cm.

Standby compass placard width: 5.5 cm, central window post width: approx. 8 cm.

    Re: 737 dv window dimension

The eyebrow windows narrow towards outside, so I measured the sun visors, which neatly place into the opening at the outside border:
width in the center: 22 cm.

    maximum lower width: 25.5 cm
