    It does not come on thats why im at step 4 lol but no green wire do you mean grey?

    Go to step 5 and see if there's any voltage. Do you have a multimeter?

    For reasons I'm not sure off, it appears your PSU doesn't comply with the ATX wiring colour scheme. In that instance the green wire is used to turned the power supply on. I notice in your pictures, Grey is indicated as PS_ON. Grey is normally Power OK. If you get nothing at step 5, go back to step 4 and change green to grey.

    No readings off meter, so grey to ANY black wire then.
    Will report back

    EDIT.
    Ok so connected the grey to a black from same block and we have power.
    I still cant get no readings from multimeter but being new i may have it on wrong settings.

    Thats my multimeter,
    I have the black in bottom socket.
    I have the red in the socket above that.
    The dial turned to the left to 20 (10 oclock position)

    I can't open that link on my phone Steve. The black lead is normally marked common or com. The red lead goes into the one marked V. Make sure the dial is set to Volts dc not ac.

    No probs sean im at work and not home till about 6pm anyway.
    Black is in common and red is in VqmA.See if this pic works.

    if you're not in a panic and can wait until after the FSWeekend show, i have a PSU unit here
    which works fine (got a green wire) which you are welcome to have.
    i can pop you a switch on the green black wire combination and label up the 5v and 12v leads
    for you. just trying to help out here

    Thats a very good offer of help Ian,
    I may have to take you up than that psu if i cant get this one working.
    Wish I could get to the weekend but all my spare cash went on cockpit parts
    Hope you all meet up and have a beer for me.

    Are you making contact with the probes? Do they fit into the connectors?
