    EHSI Range variables query

    Hi Nico,

First, your new FMC looks good, can you post or put on your web page some info with regard to the 7" TFT you are using (make, model etc). Do all the entry lines on the display line up with the LSK pushbutton positions?

I have a query about something I have not noticed before with regard to the EHSI variables 457 - 462. When my switch is in the 10nm position (var 457) the actual range shown on the EHSI gauge is 5nm. This then goes up to a maximum range of 160nm (var 462). I have checked my code and my log file and all is correct, could you please try yours and let me know if they are reading correctly.

    Regards
    Mick

    Re: EHSI Range variables query

    Hi Mick,
The information about make/model is at the FMC page, here the link.
Yes I can resize the CDU screen such that the LSK buttons almost (not completely but good enough) line up with the screen.

    About the EHSI:
The EHSI ranges in lekseecon correspond with the EHSI range positions in the Level-D 767 panel. If you would fly as a glass cockpit pilot, not using your great cockpit, you would notice exactly the same. Note that the EHSI range displayed in the gauge is the radius (which is half the range)...

    Regards,
    Nico

    Re: EHSI Range variables query

    Hi Nico,

    Thanks for the reply.
Yes of course the gauge overhaul size is the full range. I think I was having a senior moment, could have sworn that it read differently before.
I am at the moment trying to sort out a few strange problems I did not have before, the main one being after around half an hour the rotaries become eratic and push buttons seem to have developed a ten second delay before the task is carried out. This seems to have started after having to rebuild my Sioc config file due to me stupidly running the new ocm configurator just to see what it was like, doing this overwrote my original file. Of course the only file I did not have a back up of!

    Thanks again
    Mick
