Cool Experience with the use off Hall sensors instead of potentio meters?

    Hellow fellow cockpitbuilders,

At this moment I have mounted sliding liniair potentiometers to produce the values for my toe-brakes.
I consider using Hall sensors. Anybody with experience with them?
I understood there are digital versions. Are there analogue ones too ?
Are they to be connected the same way as a (analogue) potentiometer ?
There are different types of Hall sensors; which should I choose?

The advantage for me would be the disappearance of the mechanical connection between the brake pedal and the potentiometer (which is a vulnerable connection )

The fact that Hall sensors are not lineair would be no problem.
It can in fact be practical if the first movement traject of the brake pedal is less sensitive than the further pedal movement.

    Thanks for sharing your knowledge

    Greetings,
    Bram Stikkel
