Revolution Simproducts Non Motorised TQ Kits

    g'day captains......
well i guess it had to happen..... after the excercise with the 737 Rudder Pedals, I have been building a Non-Motorised TQ for Eren at Revolution Simproducts as an Experiment. That was to see how easy it would be for 'the man in the street' to build from component Parts.
The plan is that Revolution Simproducts will make the Non-Motorised TQ available as a kit for self assembly in an attempt to keep costs down and in an attempt to widen the market for Throttle Quadrants.
So, they asked me to video/photograph the build process so that a 'build video' could be made to help customers build their own Throttle Quadrant. Part 2 is finished and i'm now working on Part 1.
The beauty of this TQ design is that the Non-Motorised TQ can now be upgraded to motorised at some time in the future by fitting the motorised kit as a retro fit.
hoping to have it all done for launch at the Lelystad Show.

after the excercise with the 737 Rudder Pedals
Pushing and pulling that TQ and pedalling on the rudder all day. Who needs gym membership.
    The first 737 Crosstrainer

The kit TQ sounds a great idea, gets great parts into affordable hands

Re: Revolution Simproducts Non Motorised TQ Kits

    mornin' chaps.........
    just an update here.
because of the timescale of the Lelystad show, i've finished the 'drafts' of the Non Motorised TQ kit assembly video's
so we can use them at the show. after the show, i'll polish them up. two parts, first deals with the mechanical
build and second deals with fitting the covers.

    part 1 http://www.737ng.co.uk/revolution/TQ_Video.wmv

    part 2 http://www.737ng.co.uk/revolution/tq...vers_part2.wmv

hopefully, building your own is going to save you some cash

look forward to seeing everybody over the weekend.....
