    Talking T-6 Texan II Build

    Hello,

Is there anybody on the forum that has or is building a T-6 Texan II or equivalent military trainer? I'm thinking of starting one, and I would like to not have to "reinvent" the wheel. Any help from the forum would be much appreciated!!!!

You didn't mention flight sim or real. My father had an SNJ-5 for a few years and I have about 200 hrs in it as PIC. The left wing was fron an AT6. 650hp of fuel burning fun. The plane was a pencicola instrument trainer N1043C in authentically restored to original Silver with green "instrument trainer" stripes. It was parked at the Auburn airport just south of Seattle. Took lot's of people for rides. An amazing plane, I really miss it.

    Andy,

Thanks for the info. I was talking about a T-6 Texan II which is a Hawker/Raytheon PC-9 derivative used in JSUPT. I guess since this is a forum on simulators, I was hoping to get some ideas about a sim build. Thanks anyway!

The project is still going slowly. Got a little sidetracked by Ham Radio. I must update my website with new photos for a change.

    How is your project going?
