Which car seat could make a good platform for a 737NG seat ?

I am thinking the usual scenario for my 737NG cockpit... buy two used car seats and transform them as close as possible to 737NG seats

Many guys here have done the same, but I was wondering, is there any car seat that could do the job with less effort than another ?

Just out of curiosity those of you who have tried this way, which were the difficulties and from which car do your seats come from ?

    Thanks

    Nick

Well, since they wont be replicas anyway, you should choose someon you find comfortable. The real seats is quite narrow, just over 50cm, about 20", so regular car seats would be "much" wider.
Here is a tip for you:
Contact your local tram, tube, bus company and tell about your project. They regularly change the sets for the drivers, and I know the tram seats here in Oslo will do the trick. I called the local tram repair garage and after telling about the sim and asking in a polite manner, they took my name and would contact me when the next tram should have a seat change.
Might work for you as well. Here is a pic my good friend took of his tram seat:

    Best of luck.

    Thanks

    So tram seats ?

Searching the web I found out that seats from vans do resemble... something like ford transit maybe ?

If I follow this road, my aim is to totaly rip the seats, cut the space for the yoke between the legs and then put cloth to all again from the beggining.

I have the bare seat of a Citroen Xsara Picasso and it measures just 1-2 cm wider and longer than the 737 seat. It even has an arm rest (only one). My plan is to fit cushions for it. The bottom cushion will stick out just enough to make the cutout for the control column.
