    Unhappy new to lekseecon and OC modules.

    Dear fellow builders,

    First let me introduce myself. I am 35 years old and a FS enthusiast for over quit some years now and always wanted to make a simpit. After the usual planning and studying of sites and photos, I decided to built myselve have a cockpit. I have the following hardware installed:

    CDU engravity;
    MCP and EFIS CPflight
    Homebuilt TQ based onthe GOflight TQ,
    and tw modules of GOflight (radio and mulitfunc)

    It is FS9 based and it runs on a AMD dual core machine.
    I use a second PC (over wide FS) with all the extra's.

    Now I bought myselve some OC modules. (trying to get rid of my goflight modules) I followd the instructions from Nico's site and downloaded the proper software. (both the OC SIOC 37B1 and Lekseecon6).

    this is what I have installed:
    SIOC 3.7 Beta 1;
    Lekseecon V 6
    and according to manual unzipped the IOmodules download (version 17-05-2010)

    After reading the manual for the OC Plug and Play Modules I managed to get some sort of live into my ATC module. It gives a actual Sqck code (although it doesn't show op in my LvlD pdst) and the LvlD does react to changing the toggle and the rotary switches.

    my sioc screen tellls me th following:

    Starting SIOC
    Loading SIOC config .INI :
    C:\Program Files\IOCards\SIOC\sioc.ini
    Initializing IOcard Module
    Loading SIOC Script :
    powered_by_lekseecon\OC_modules\atc9.ssi
    IOCP client connected

    it sees my nav, one comm, adf and a Xpndr.

    It also says that my FSUIPC is Disabled, it gives no version, and it dow not see FS2004? Can anyone give me some advise on how to get it to work properly.

    Hi Remco,
    Welcome to the club of simpit builders!

    Note that my PnP software for OC Modules only supports the OC MCP, EFIS, FMC and ATC. It will not control your NAV and COM modules.

    The only thing that worries me (after reading your set up description ) is that FSUIPC is not enabled... Have you installed FSUIPC?
    And check in sioc.ini (in the SIOC folder) that FSUIPC is enabled and that FSUIPCrefresh is defined. If needed remove the semicolons before these 2 lines.

    regards,
    Nico

    Re: new to lekseecon and OC modules.

    Nico,

    Thanks for your reply. As far as I now understand of reading your site and the manuals this is my SIOC ini file:

    ; DO NOT REMOVE THIS TOP LINE
    ;
    ; This g_sioc.ini was generated by setup-FS2004 version 1.2
    ;
    ; ATC737 module detected
    ;
    [SIOC]
    IOCP_port=8092
    IOCP_timeout=4000
    Minimized=Yes
    toggle_delay=20
    CONFIG_FILE=powered_by_lekseecon\OC_modules\atc9.ssi

    [IOCARDS MODULE]
    IOCard_disable=No
    IOCard_LPT=No

    [MASTERS]
    ;MASTER=1,7,1,1001
    ;MASTER=2,5,1,1002
    MASTER=3,11,1,30

    ;[USBKEYS]
    ;USBKeys=4,1004

    [FSUIPC MODULE]
    FSUipcdisable=Yes

    [IOCP CLIENTS MODULES]
    IOCPini_delay=3000
    IOCPclient0_disable=Yes
    IOCPclient0_host=localhost
    IOCPclient0_port=8090
    IOCPclient1_disable=Yes
    IOCPclient1_host=localhost
    IOCPclient1_port=8099

    [SOUND MODULE]
    Sound_disable=Yes
    Volume=100

    So I do not understand your advise. In Dutch, wat is een semicolon?

    Remco,

    Change the FSUIPC part of sioc.ini into:

    Code:
    [FSUIPC MODULE]
    FSUipcdisable=No
    FSUipcRefresh=50
    and try again...

    P.S. en oh ja een 'semicolon' is een 'puntkomma' in gewoon Nederlands

    Re: new to lekseecon and OC modules.

    Nico,

    Changes are made, and now at start up of SIOC it recognizes FSUIPC V3.96 and FS2004.

    The Transponder (hardware) gives a Sq code altough it is not the code shown on the ped of my LvlD. If I flick the switch XPNDR 1 2 to the other side than it changes SQ code on my ped. (so far so good). But it is an entirely different SQ code as on my hardware panel. So the Sq codes ar not synchronizes.

    Re: new to lekseecon and OC modules.

    After restarting my PC I got the following message while starting SIOC:

    Welcome to SIOC by Manuel Vélez
    Starting SIOC
    Loading SIOC config .INI :
    C:\Program Files\IOCards\SIOC\sioc.ini
    Initializing IOcard Module
    Loading SIOC Script :
    powered_by_lekseecon\OC_modules\????????

    If start up LEKSEECON it says:

    LVLDSDK.dll kan niet worden gevonden. Het opnieuw instaleren van de toepassing kan het probleem verhelpen

    Make sure your Level-D flight has a valid sq code in the transponder (1000 <= code <=7777) before you start lekseecon.

    Possible causes:

    Are you sure you start sioc.exe in the SIOC folder?

    Have you made changes to sioc.ini in between? (You should not do that)

    Check your sioc.ini script. It should read:
    CONFIG_FILE=powered_by_lekseecon\OC_modules\atc9.ssi

    Is there (still) a LVLDSDK.dll in that folder? You should not remove that file... If it is missing you better re-install lekseecon v6.

    Re: new to lekseecon and OC modules.

    Hi Nico,

    I tried to post a similar reply as this one, but it doen't show, so I re do my reply.

    I have solved all of the issues. My SIOC and LEKSECON (after reinstalling) work great.

    The only issue is still the SQ code. I have SQ 1200 in my LvlD at start up. I get a d while dialing (as I should) but the codes make no sense. for example 1200 (LvlD) is 4600 in hardware. 5376 (hardware) gives 1500 in LvlD.

    Anny ideas?

    Remco
