Airbus has today announced its decision not to increase prices for Airbus proprietary parts in 2006, thus keeping prices at the current level. This follows price reduction and price freeze initiatives taken by Airbus Spares Support and Services over the recent years. This third consecutive price freeze allows Airbus customers to benefit from continued low spare part prices.

Airbus' decision reflects the European aircraft manufacturer's commitment to top-of-the-range customer support with unmatched quality at competitive prices.

"With this price initiative for 2006, we actively demonstrate our commitment towards our customers to provide customer value in Spares Support and Services while contributing to reducing their operating cost," says Patrick Gavin, Airbus Executive Vice President Customer Services.

Within the Airbus Customer Services organisation, Airbus Spares Support and Services provides order desk services for all maintenance and repair needs, spare parts data and provisioning support as well as supply chain management services.
