DH and Orange Bug on Altimeter

    Hello Nico,

I just added the MIP and ADI/EHSI code to my setup. All is working perfect, just 2 items:

    1) DH:
I changed the startup value from -10 to 180. If I turn the encoder the DH is counting up to the corresponding value, but every 1/2 second an additional feet, So it takes quite long for a change of lets say 30 feet.
Is there a way to change it? Acceleration 8 did not change anything

    2) Orange Bug on Altimeter:
Similar behavior also here. To go from 0 to 100 feet takes roughly a minute turning the encoder.

All other encoders are perfect (MCP, QNH, Temp Sel on TRP).
    Any idea?

I have FS9.1 on XP 64bit, Lekseecon 6.0 an the last code also.

    Peter

    1) nothing to about it. But what is the problem? Just wait a while and in the panel the DH will by synchronised with your hardware display. Pay only attention to the value at your hardware display at the pedestal.
    2) again, nothing to do about it.

Both "problems" have to do with limited functionality in the SDK. A new version of the SDK may have solved it.

If you look at videos you'll see the same issue with th Opencockpits MCP. The values take a long time to turn, I know it's sometimes frustrating but unfortunately that's just how it is.

Well that depends on the interface available. For the Level-d 767 powered by lekseecon the Opencockpits MCP works perfectly well.

The problem for the 767 DH is that in the 767 SDK there are only + and - commands (increment and decrement). So we have to change revolutions with a rotary encoder to such rather old fashioned commands in stead of setting a value directly.

    Nico thanks!

I did not connect the DH display yet. But it is ok.

    Thanks,
