OVERHEAD DISPLAYS (PRESSURIZATION, BLEED AIR, AIR CONDITIONING) HOW TO?

    Hi Nico,

I am in the process of building the overhead panel, and was wondering how to create the displays for the following, and if they are already in your soic file on the website.

    Panels

    Pressurization

    How to display

    DIFF
    ALT
    RATE

    VALVE
    climb and descend rates

    LANDING ALT

    BLEED AIR PANEL

    Duct pressure

    AIR CONDITION PANEL

    SUB-PANEL
    FLT DECK COLD AND WARM

    COMPARTMENT TEMP
    2 DISPLAY 2 DIGITS EACH

Some of these are analog gauges and others are digits, how do I implement them in 7 segment display?

    Thanks,

    Taufeeq

No they are not in my cockpit sioc files, but I know of others that have them available, like Mick (see recent led code help thread).

If you want to display these values in 7-segment displays, no problem, just write the value to such a display ...
Again, Mick might help you with example SIOC codes.

    regards,
    Nico

    Hi Nico,
    Here is the problem.
I have next to no knowledge than how to change the input and output numbers on the soic files.

I was originally going to make the 747, but went with the LD767 because you have the complete system soic files done.

If it is not much bother I would be happy if you can give some guidance in how to get the displays done.

    Thanks,

    Taufeeq

That is a problem indeed. I strongly recommend to learn a little bit more of SIOC. At my site there is a howto page with simple examples. Study these first I'd say.

    Hi Nico,

    Just read the above post.
I have got all my complete code working now including the above mentioned bits.
In the hope it is of use to fellow builders I just tried to upload my code to the Lekseecon part of this site but do not have permission.

If you think it will be of use can you tell me how to do it or by another method. I will be uploading it to the LD767 builders site but noticed not all of us are members.

    Regards
    Mick

    Hi,
Mick's single SIOC file for a Boeing 767 cockpit is now available in the lekseecon downloads section.
