    MCDU macro question

Hi all, mi name is David.

Lets see i have a MCDU, is without an LCD screen but it has allthe buttons, the thing is i want to connect it to my simulator just to use it with my PSS panel with the Mouse Macro optiona t the FSUIPC.

The thing is, what do you recommend me to do?? I though on buy a usb keyboard and open it to use the keyboard card to make all the conections to the mcdu, and the conect it ti the PC, the thing is as a keyboard i use PS/2, so its a good idea to buy a USB to make all this i wanna make? or what do you recommend? Im new at this.

And its possible to have the normal PS/2 keyboard and the modified USB keyboard at the same time?

Yes, you can hack and use a keyboard card with any problem.
Or.. you can use a joystick card (buo836, mjoy16 or similar) and make it with macro , but a keyboard card is more cheap.

Using 2 keyboards, i dont know, but i think its possible (sure its possible, but i dont know how)

    Sorry for my english

    Re: MCDU macro question

check the opencockpits USB key emulator, it doesn't conflict with your existing keyboard.
I'm sure hacking a USB keyboard could be cheaper but might be more complicated. I have the OC UsbKeys Card and it works great

    Re: MCDU macro question

Thanks both of you, yeah twisted that was my biggest concern about using a regular keyboard card, so i guess i will order the key emulator from opencockpits.

    Thanks
