Smile Video, F-4 Phantom sim test flight

Just testing hardware in the middle of major upgrades... Video speaks louder than photos...

That being said, when I think of the sim in my mind it looks like this, because Im always working on it! Cant wait to get some more quality flight time...

That's fantastic. Was the Channel 3 guy a former F4 jock? Just wondering. Awesome job on the sim.

No. However, he did go for a Blue Angel F-18 ride and loved it so he has a special appreciation for anything Blue Angel.

Here is a new video of the F-4. Its had a lot of upgrades that includes the addition of a a real radar scope, a working g suit, and a 3 projector visual system. The IFF/transponder had been integrated with an Aurduino and will soon be used for unline flying with the Pilot Edge network. Motor vibrations in the seat are used as cues for buffetting, afterburner, landing bump, engine start rumble, flaps transition, wheel transition, and negative g. The sim is now in a permament spot rather than on a trailer. Plan to make a detailed video soon to show step by step what it can do.
