    The Boeings Come Alive

OK, well I have finally succumed to the appeal of the big iron. After visiting Gwyn (Westozy) for the umpteenth time and seeing his new CNC machine in operation along with the most gorgeous A340 throttle you've ever seen, I have decided to move up with the big boys. I've also been inspired by the up and coming software offered by Sim Avionics and as a result have decided to start building sim number 3 in my favourite commercial airliner the B777. I am in discussions with Gwyn at the moment to build the throttles, which will be a slight divergence from his Airbus and 737 models so expect to see this new product line on his shelves soon. In his words the B777 throttle is a "piece of *$&#! And you can take his word for that. Panels and hardware will also come from his workshop so I am expecting to spend quite a bit of time (and Bourbon) in his garage.

I always suspected it would take the third sim to really know what you are doing and this is obviously the case. Either that or I have flipped it and have way too much time and money on my hands!

Any comments or criticisms are welcome regarding my newfounnd project.

    Ken.

Ken, I'm glad that you at least elected to go with one of the "Brown" Boeings. Good luck with your new project and I really look forward to seeing your progress.

Good on you Ken, however I still didn't think you would do the backflip, how wrong I was. I was at Gwyn yesterday and to see some of the parts being produced from his new equipment was amazing.
