    Re: A few questions!

Thanks for putting the web page up, it was interesting to read. I really like the idea of putting a cessna logo on somewhere - simple but very effective

The 182 is a nice one to make because it's versatile, it's controls allow for flying all of the smaller cessnas and quite a few more powerful planes too.

If this project goes well I'll probably build a second box to sit underneath the first, with rudder trim, elevator trim, and cowl flap controls all wiring into original control card.

Another option actually is to take my old joystick apart (it was involved in a bit of a chemistry accident meaning it works fine but looks bad so can't be sold on) and use the card from that - is this worth a try?

    Re: A few questions!

I've received the Leo Bodnar card and have been wiring it up for testing. Unfortunately I am having exactly the problem described earlier - I toggle the switch to 'on' and it turns the light switch in fsx on, good so far. Then I toggle it to off, and nothing. I have to switch it back to the 'on' position again to turn off the lights in FSX. That's hopeless. Does anyone know of a way around it, either through the wiring itself or through some intermediary software? (I'm using the simple wiring option, i.e. one wire to a button input and one to a spare GND.

    Re: A few questions!

Ahh I've solved my own question by doing things through 'HIDMacros'. Works perfectly, though it would be nice if there was a way to do it through the sim directly...

I'll be posting some pictures of it in a week or so when all the finishing touches have been added
