My Master Caution and Fire Warning

Time to start my first thread this year and I want to show you the construction of my master caution and fire warn buttons. For these I only needed some plexi, a colored PVC sheet, a cheap momentary button and 4 leds. Of course I used my CNC to make this.

    Enjoy the pictures,

    Regards Wendy

    Wendy...those look great!!. Excellent work.

But one little point to note....

    FIRE WARN is RED....NOT Yellow.

    MASTER CAUTION is YELLOW.....NOT Red.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards, JP

    Thanks JP.

I can change the pvc-caps without destroying anything, they are not glued but simply pushed together.

    Thanks Wendy

Thumbs up Re: My Master Caution and Fire Warning

    Hello Wendy,
    really looks very good.

How does one actually get the master caution signal from the simulator. An offset is there or not...

Re: My Master Caution and Fire Warning

That looks great, I also used clear laser film to print and make my switches.

One small comment, . it should be BELL CUTOUT not SELL CUTOUT .... maybe you can reprint one.

    Cheers

Re: My Master Caution and Fire Warning

Well I changed the colors and printed a new label. Here is a picture of the corrected buttons.

    Thanks Capetonian and JP

How you connect these directly to FSX... I don't know. I am going to use FlightDeckSoftware and I already checked and it is possible, but first I need all my MIP panels finished. It should also be possible with PM systems, but maybe someone can answer this question better than I can.

    Regards Wendy
