It's not an answer to anyone's prayers unless they knock that zero off the hind end of the price. 2880x900 simply doesn't cut it for $6500. For $6500 you could do full 360 projection with 1080p projectors.

This is the same display Alienware and a few others have been trying to pawn off on the world for awhile now without success. It would be highly irrational to buy this display considering the alternatives. BTW, it's not a single LCD, it's multiple DLP light engines projecting like an old rear projection tv. With the multple dlp light engines rear projecting this design also has a history of edge blending issues noticable on the screen. Sorry you got your hopes up because of the marketing bait and switch going on here...

This side view will show you just how big and clunky the display is:

As if I would pay the price tag!

But I wouldn't say no, you would be bonkers not to be impressed with it!

I am not impressed with it. It's a bulky inefficient design with edge blending issues and crappy resolution. The pricing is just icing on the cake. The real curved displays won't come out till OLED is mainstreamed. This is a pale imitation to OLED capability.

Those that have any time behind the seat of multi-display setups know that 2880x900 is a joke in relation to EyeFinity and TH2G capability. The only advantage here is lack of bezel and that is even ruined with the blending issues that this display has a track record with. I'm being a realist about the display. Once you cut through all the marketing nonsense there are design flaws and spec limitations that simply don't add up to a $6500 price tag, or even $1200 for that matter.

Yes, and my personal opinion is just as valid as yours. I respect your right to your opinion, but I don't agree with it.

This is what I did for half the cost.
