    Front Views

Hi, I am building a 737, well a custom version anway, I am aiming for a scaled shell of the 737 but will most likely just have the pilot & TQ, I am leaving out the FP side.

My question though is how to create the views. I have a pretty good HD Sony projector and access to almost as many CRT monitors as one could wish for, what I can't work out is how best to create the external view.

The front of the shell will be curved slightly so if I use a projector and a screen it will have to sit back from the cockpit, which I am worried will affect the 'closed in cockpit' feeling I want to create.

However if I go for CRT monitors fitted to the outside of the shell, I am worried that the picture quality will be rubbish.

Can anyone suggest the best setup given what I have to work with. If anyone can supply some pictures/diagrams of how they solved the problem that would be even better.

    Thanks,
    Luke

    Hi Luke,

I've never done it myself, but here is some good info.
