    Matrox M9188 - 8 monitor support

    Hi All -

Don't know if this has been already posted (couldn't find it!) , but Matrox has released a card that supports 8 monitors -
    http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/pr.../m9188pciex16/

Could be useful for us for the outside view, and maybe to cut down the number of PC's for PM....

retail is about 2000 usd -

    Re: Matrox M9188 - 8 monitor support

This product is totally useless regardless the price. It's made for video walls and would be horrid for gaming. The GPU used in it simply doesn't have the horsepower to do any serious gaming with it.

Look at AMD's six port 5870 EyeFinity6 card coming soon if you want performance and a lot of ports out on a single card. As a bonus the EyeFinity6 would be nowhere near that expensive.
