    O/C efis plug and play

Hey guys, can the plug and play EFIS and MCP units from open cockpits just plug in and then program the switches and buttons etc through fsuipc for (2004)? Or do you have to have the open cockpits master cards etc and sioc scripts? I would like to use them for the level d 767 and can use fsconv fsuipc offsets from Nico Kaan if need be. I want to be able to hook up the open cockpits modules to the BUO836x card if i could.

    Any thoughts?
    Thanks

    Drew

Re: O/C efis plug and play

I haven't had any luck getting them recognized when i had my fsuipc up and running. My mcp worked well but the efis never really worked well at all.

Re: O/C efis plug and play

I have both and they work like a dream (pmdg737) after some initial teething problems, Forget using the bu0836x, If you plan on using them with level D 767 I think all the needed sioc codes will be readily available, i even think Nico Kaan has a automatic installer of some description (?) So it would be a case of just plug and play, once you have loaded up the sioc.

    Indeed.
For the Level-D 767: just plug them in, run SIOC & lekseecon and enjoy your modules.

Really...that easy? Wow ok cool, I had visions of it being much harder than that. Thanks Kiek.
