    First Panel

I have finally cut out my first panel using my homebuilt cnc machine. I have attempted to include a picture of it here......It is cut from 1/4" foamed pvc, which makes it very light. The korry lite that is in the pane is only there for the picture. By the way, the korry light is made from the same material and will be lit with 2 leds. The legend is made from 1mm PETG and the legend for the korry and the panel lettering were done on the CNC machine. Comments and/or questions are welcome.

OK, someone please let me know how to get a picture in here and I will put it in. Can not figure it out.

You need to upload an image to a photo archive site (eg photobucket.com) then using the image link to that photo/site paste the link here in your message. That's how I do it anyway.

Or uploaded in our Photo Gallery. Go into the photo gallery, look at your image in large view, right click and copy URL and then past into your post.

    ok, her we go
As I said, foamed pvc for the material...not backlighted. My CNC has problems with plexiglass or acrylic. Figuring this stluff out a little at a time.

    Re: First Panel

OK, how did you do that? I have tried by copying and pasting the url from the photo gallery and it did not happen. Doing panel #2 as I am typing. Oops!!! I just noticed that I have the OFF and ON engraving upside down....the OFF is always on the top on the overhead. I will need to fix this. Actually, I want to build a Cessna CJ, twin jet, not a 737. Guess this is a good way to learn my machine.

    Milt,

It has **nearly nothing** to do with your CNC machine but with the **properties of acryl**.

I just wrote someting about it on another milling forum. Hope this helps ?

    Just as Matt described
Simply go to the picture gallery, select your picture then (here is the important part) click on it to open it in a pop up window then right click-> copy picture URL and here you go.
